Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea. At present, the varieties of oolong tea are quite diverse, and it is a unique tea variety in China. Oolong tea is also one of the six traditional Chinese tea types. As a semi-fermented tea, oolong tea has a thick and tight appearance, dark brown and oily color. Oolong tea has a natural floral and fruity aroma and the characteristics of "green leaves with red edges". It also has the fragrance of green tea and the mellow taste of black tea, which makes oolong tea different from other teas. Oolong tea has unique style characteristics. The overall taste of tea is strong and mellow, and it contains a variety of active organisms such as tea polyphenols, alkaloids and theanine, which can effectively resist oxidation and cancer, etc. Therefore, oolong tea is deeply favored by the public for its unique taste and good efficacy characteristics.
According to different origins, oolong tea can be divided into southern Fujian oolong tea, northern Fujian oolong tea, Taiwan oolong tea, and Guangdong oolong tea.
Tea brewing method: Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea, such as Tieguanyin, Narcissus Oolong, etc. It is best to use a professional purple clay teapot or covered bowl cup to brew oolong tea, and be sure to use boiling water above 95℃.
The amount of oolong tea leaves: 5g (tea leaves): 200cc (water).
When brewing oolong tea, the first brew should be poured out to wash off the dust on the tea leaves. The poured water can be used to moisten all the cups, and then pour in boiling water to brew and drink. Oolong tea can be brewed many times, and good quality can be brewed 7 to 8 times. The brewing time for each time ranges from short to long, preferably 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
